Principal Forward Deployed Engineer, MyWave Agentic CoE | MYWAVE.ai | Remote

MyWave.ai | Partner with us

MyWave is a universal agentic AI platform. MyWave Create generates and deploys secure, governed agents in conversation, drawing on ontology best practice across 27 industries, and runs them across the whole enterprise estate - SAP ECC, S/4HANA, SAP Business One and non-SAP systems of record such as Oracle, Microsoft, Salesforce and ServiceNow. We are SAP certified on BTP, work with Joule and extend it, and smooth RISE and GROW with agents that solve the edge cases and complex processes standard SAP doesn't fit.

Our customers are global enterprises. Our route to market runs through around 70 SI and SAP partners globally, as well as direct. We have offices in the USA, UK, India, Australia and New Zealand and a growing virtual team across every time zone.

In this position...

Deploy agents with partners. Transform the nature of work in SAP estates. Teach partners to do it themselves.

The MyWave Agentic Centre of Excellence (CoE) is a global team of forward deployed engineers. The CoE works with partners and their end customers to deploy MyWave and the agents it generates, then transfers the skills so the partner can build, govern and run agents on their own. This role reports into the Agentic CoE and is a member of a growing virtual team.

You will be based in the central to east coast USA and cover the US and EMEA time zones. Your partners are SAP SIs, GSIs and resellers and their customers running SAP ECC, S/4HANA (on-premise, private and public cloud) and SAP Business One, together with the third-party systems around them. Deployments range from RISE with SAP and GROW with SAP programmes to on-premise estates where the customer wants to modernise with agents now rather than wait for migration.

You do not need to arrive as an agentic AI expert. You need to arrive as a strong SAP technical consultant or architect who understands how ECC and S/4HANA work under the hood - APIs, OData, BAPIs, IDocs, BTP - and who wants to go deep on MCP, A2A and agent generation. We will train you in AI and MyWave.

This is a hands-on role for someone who would rather sit with a partner and get an agent running on a real system than work behind a ticket queue.

What You'll Own...

Partner enablement and onboarding

  • Own the technical onboarding of new partners in your time zones: get MyWave Runtime and MyWave Desktop stood up in their environment, connected to SAP ECC, S/4HANA or SAP Business One through the MyWave MCP servers, and through to their first successful agent run.
  • Run the partner-ready checklist by screen share before enablement starts, so every partner arrives at training with a working environment.
  • Deliver the technical training modules to partner consultants: environment setup, SAP connection, MCP servers and InfoPlugins, A2A, roles, policies and the Supervisor, troubleshooting. Run the hands-on labs and answer the questions that go beyond the slides.
  • Be the first point of contact for partner setup and connection issues in your time zones: diagnose, talk the partner through the fix, and hand anything deeper to the CoE and infrastructure teams with a clear write-up.

Deployment with partners and their customers

  • Work alongside partner delivery teams on customer deployments: landscape discovery, agent generation in MyWave Create, connection to the systems of record, roles and authorisations, policies and rules, Supervisor configuration, operating mode (autonomous, human-in-the-loop or mixed) and go-live.
  • Deploy in RISE with SAP and GROW with SAP programmes, in hybrid migrate-faster scenarios, and in on-premise ECC and S/4HANA estates.
  • Connect the surrounding estate - Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Workday and similar - through APIs, MCP and A2A, and reason about how data and authorisations flow between systems.
  • Stay close through first go-live and protect the reference.

Technical presales support

  • Support the Partner Director, Presales and partner sales teams as the technical authority in the room: discovery of the SAP landscape, architecture and security answers, demonstrations on the customer's own processes, and proofs of value.
  • Scope pilots with partners: environment options, prerequisites, what the agent reads and writes, where governance sits and a realistic timeline.

CoE contribution

  • Build reusable assets for the CoE: reference architectures, deployment runbooks, demo agents, MCP and InfoPlugin patterns and Academy content.
  • Feed what you learn in the field back to Product and Engineering - patterns partners hit, gaps in documentation and tooling, defects with enough detail to act on.
  • Sanity-check each new MyWave Runtime and Desktop release on a typical SAP partner setup before it goes out. Our Test and Quality Lead owns release testing; you are the field check, not the test gate.
  • Share US and EMEA patterns with CoE colleagues in the other regions.

What Makes You a Great Fit...

SAP and integration

  • 8+ years as a technical consultant, solution architect or integration lead on SAP ECC and S/4HANA, with the proven ability to learn a new platform fast and go deep on it.
  • Hands-on with SAP integration and extension: REST and OData APIs, BAPIs and RFCs, IDocs, SAP BTP (Integration Suite, SAP Build, CAP), authorisations and how data flows between systems.
  • Exposure to SAP Business AI, Joule and Joule Studio, or the appetite to learn them quickly.
  • Understanding of RISE with SAP and GROW with SAP - the migration paths, what changes for the customer and where the gaps and edge cases sit.
  • Working knowledge of SAP Business One (Service Layer, Web Client, Web Extensions) is a strong plus. If you do not have it, you will need to show us how you would get there quickly.

Technical plumbing

  • Comfortable with the plumbing around it: REST APIs and JSON, OAuth, OIDC and SAML SSO, TLS certificates, Docker, Windows and macOS. You can read a config file, follow a log and know what a port conflict looks like.
  • Understanding of the Model Context Protocol (MCP), Agent-to-Agent (A2A) or equivalent tool integration. Hands-on experience is a plus, not a prerequisite - we will train you.
  • Able to reason about governance: roles, authorisations, policy boundaries, audit, and what must stay deterministic when writing to a system of record.

People

  • Good interpersonal skills. Warm, confident and patient. You can take a partner consultant from a broken install to a running agent without making them feel stupid, and you can hold your own with an SAP architecture team.
  • Clear written communication. Your write-ups need to be good enough that a colleague in another time zone can act on them without a call.
  • Comfortable working in a virtual, multi-time-zone team and flexing your hours to cover EMEA mornings and US afternoons.
  • Based in the central to east coast USA with the right to work, and able to travel to partner sites and industry events in the US and EMEA.

Bonus Points...

  • SAP certifications (S/4HANA, BTP, Integration Suite or architecture).
  • Hands-on work with LLM tooling - Azure OpenAI, agent frameworks, MCP servers, A2A.
  • Experience inside a large SI's SAP practice or an SAP partner, and an existing network in the SAP ecosystem.
  • Experience with SAP PartnerEdge and the SAP Store.
  • Exposure to regulated industries and compliance frameworks (SOX, IFRS, GDPR) and how they constrain automation.
  • Spanish or another European language.

Our team moves quickly. The interview process will include a conversation with our Chief Product Officer, a practical session in which you walk us through a customer landscape and how you would deploy an agent into it, and a meeting with the Agentic CoE team.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
